What we do
With a heart for Botswana, her people, wildlife, and natural splendour, Berekela Setshaba Holdings seeks to serve wherever it can. By God’s grace, with His guidance, and for His glory: we want to see each of these entities restored and thriving as they were intended to.
Through our Business Academy and everyday operating practice, we’re committed to equipping and discipling Botswana’s upcoming leaders in the purposes and principles of business. Built on Kingdom principles, one of our key purposes is to share the gospel and make disciples of all nations, as commissioned by Jesus in Matthew 28:19-20.
To this end, we see every one of the businesses we launch as a platform for provision and as a means to equip and inspire more people to see Godly purposes and principles in action.
Our heart is to teach more and more people the ways of the Lord – in business and in generosity of spirit – so that they have the tools needed to start Godly businesses themselves, and in turn, employ and educate others.

“Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day, teach a man to fish, and you feed him for a lifetime.” This wisdom extends beyond fishing and physical sustenance of course. It speaks of a dignifying, collaborative and sustainable approach to both people and nature, and the relationship between the two.
As we engage with various communities, we seek to address not only their immediate, short-term needs, but their longer-term ones too, which in turn connect to our long-term impact on wildlife and nature.
To this end, along with our primary goal to reach and disciple people, the active conservation of land and its surroundings is an intrinsic part of our purpose—ushering in a harmonious way of living between people, land, and nature.
